On April 19, the Taylor Charitable Trust was pleased to award its first Adams Prize in Philosophy to Dr. Michael Huemer of the University of Colorado-Boulder in a ceremony held on the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His review of Ethical Naturalism and the Modern World-View carefully analyzed and contextualized Adams’ thought. Dr. Huemer’s paper was awarded top prize after careful consideration by a two-tier peer review jury. The award for the inaugural prize was $50,000.00. Congratulations to Dr. Huemer.
